Historic Hayfield Manor is a great place to explore Virginia History.

Aggregate Industries stabilized and restored Hayfield Manor for the community to enjoy and learn from. It is our mission at Hayfield Manor to educate the community about the rich history of this site, the house and to inform the public about history working hand-in-hand with industry to add to the diverse heritage that Hayfield Manor offers.

Hayfield Manor offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about Virginia history prior to the Revolutionary War and during the Civil War, as well as the effects of changing transportation and socioeconomic conditions on architecture and land uses.

After years of deterioration and neglect, Aggregate Industries’ Mid Atlantic Region chose to stabilize Hayfield Manor during 2006 and 2007 and after years of hard work and dedication, “this very desirable Estate” is now open to the public for tours and events.
