In additional to Hayfield Manor's rich history and tradition, the house is adjacent to an active Sand & Gravel mining site. Tours of our mining operation serve to educate the public about the environmentally responsible manner in which Aggregate Industries operates.

Combined tours of both the Manor and the Mining operation can create a spark of interest in our youth. Make a reservation today for your family's youngest geology enthusiast to learn about the mining experience right in their backyards. Each talk and tour includes a story about the mine, followed by a question and answer session.

By providing an opportunity to get as many local students involved in these activities as possible we can engage with them, and tell them what we do and how we regard our neighbors.
